报告题目Topological magnetic structure and quantum effects in room

报告摘要

Two-dimensional (2D) ferromagnetic materials have garnered significant attention for their unique low-dimensional magnetic behavior and promising applications in next-generation spintronic and quantum devices. The recent discovery of intrinsic ferromagnetism in materials such as CrI₃ and Fe5GeTe₂ defies the Mermin-Wagner theorem, which traditionally prohibits long-range magnetic order in 2D isotropic systems at finite temperatures. Pushing this frontier further, the realization of room-temperature ferromagnetism is a crucial milestone toward practical device integration. These 2D magnetic systems also host a rich array of quantum phenomena—including the anomalous Hall effect, topological spin textures (e.g., skyrmions), and quantum spin transport—making them powerful platforms for exploring topological magnetism and quantum effects. In this study, we investigate magnetic field and current induced magnetic modulation in room-temperature 2D ferromagnetic materials and uncover signatures of topological magnetic structures. Additionally, we incorporate machine learning techniques to accelerate the discovery and design of novel quantum materials with desirable magnetic and topological characteristics. Our findings provide deeper insight into the interplay between spin structure and electronic transport, offering valuable guidance for the design and optimization of quantum and spintronic functionalities in low-dimensional systems.

报告人简介:

曹桂新,上海大学教授,博士生导师。获得上海大学博士学位后留校工作一年后赴德国马克斯普朗克研究所做博士后研究。曾在橡树岭国家实验室和俄亥俄州立大学物理系工作约十年。201912月人才引进到上海大学材料基因组工程研究院工作,主要研究方向为拓扑量子材料的磁性、输运性能研究及应用。在Nature Communications Phys. Rev. Lett.等国际著名期刊发表论文100余篇,研究成果入选《2006年度上海市科技进步报告》物理学领域六大科技成果之一,获得上海市自然科学二等奖。
