in strong gravitational lensing and black hole shadow observations

报告摘要:
In this talk, I will present the constraint on the parameter in modified gravity (MOG) theory with the use of Event Horizon Telescope observations for supermassive M87* and SgrA* black holes respectively, which is much tighter compared with the result obtained from the orbital precession of the S2 star. Then I will show the differences in lensing observables (including the image position, separation, magnification and the time delays between the relativistic images) between the rotating black hole in MOG and the Kerr black hole in general relativity, which are presupposed as supermassive black holes in M87* and SgrA*. I will argue that the evaluations on lensing observables can help to distinguish the MOG from GR.

报告人简介:
况小梅,扬州大学教授。2014年于上海交通大学获得理学博士学位。 随后分别在希腊雅典国家技术大学、智利瓦尔帕莱索天主教大学做博士后。2017年底加入扬州大学工作,2018年获聘江苏省特聘教授。近年来研究兴趣集中在黑洞稳定性、黑洞阴影及全息引力等。在PRD、JHEP、EPJC等发表学术论文65篇, INSPIRE引用千余次。
