ESD8 Conference held at Tianjin University

The 8th conference on electrostatic storage devices (ESD8) was held in Tianjin August 26-30, 2019, organized by K. Hansen. It saw five days of intense talks and discussions. Participants had 10 nationalities between them, from Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. In addition to the strong foreign participation, the conference also saw a number of speakers from the Chinese chemical physics community who presented talks on the impressive recent progress of Chinese science.
