报告摘要:
The semiclassical black hole radiates by producing entangled pairs at the horizon. The radiation has no information about the details of the matter which made the hole. This is known as the black hole information paradox. Recently a potential resolution called the island proposal was given using the Euclidean path integral. In this talk, I will briefly explain the island proposal, its basic derivation, and possible interpretations. I will discuss the ‘effective small corrections theorem’ to show that such a proposal requires either nonunitarity of evolution in the black hole interior or nonlocal interactions between the hole and infinity. I will also discuss the fuzzball proposal, which uses the full structure of string theory. The paradox can be resolved without using the nonunitarity or nonlocality required by the island proposal.

郭斌,2008-2015 年在兰州大学先后获得本科、硕士学位,2015-2017 年在加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学攻读硕士学位。郭斌博士于 2021 在美国俄亥俄州立大学获得博士学位后,2021 至今在法国巴黎萨克雷大学从事博士后研究。主要从事黑洞微观态 fuzzball 理论的研究。
