报告摘要

When studying a ((super)conformal) quantum field theory, one is interested whether it belongs to a family of theories or is an isolated point in the moduli space. Of particular interest are conformal theories that belong to the same family as some well-known superconformal theory with controllable properties. An example of such a family of fixed points is the Leigh-Strassler deformation of D = 4 N = 4 super Yang-Mills theory preserving N = 1 supersymmetry and until recently it has been believed that no non-supersymmetric conformal manifold can exist. In 2112.11966 an example of such a family was found.

In this talk I will report about the recently developed technique of generating families of supergravity backgrounds holographically dual to such non-SUSY conformal field theories. These families are parametrized by a polyvector that is restricted by a generalization of the classical Yang-Baxter equation, presumably standing behind three-dimensional integrable systems. The same technique can generate backgrounds dual to defect CFTs when applied to a compact subgroup of the full AdS isometry group.

报告人简介

Dr.Musaev is a senior researcher at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Laboratory of High Energy Physics. Before moving to Moscow he was a Humbold fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for gravitational physics in Potsdam (DE) and a postdoctoral researcher at Higher School of Economics, maths department. He obtained his PhD from Queen Mary University of London in 2013, under the supervision of Prof. David Berman. He is mainly interested in T-and U-dualities in string and M-theory.
