报告摘要

       Understanding and simulation of the dynamics of open quantum systems is a topic of both theoretical and practical significance to many frontier fields. In this talk, I will introduce the idea of pseudomode, originally proposed by Garraway, which implements the idea of modelling a nonMarkovian open quantum system by an effective Markovian system by introducing extra auxiliary bosonic modes. Specifically, I will focus on our recent work of using unphysical pseudomodes, stochastic noise, and pseudomode dimers in the construction of the pseudomode model, and its application to the spin-boson model and time-delayed optical networks.
