Recent years have witnessed considerable interest in exploring various fascinating aspects of unconventional physical phenomena in non-Hermitian systems. Non-Hermiticity is relevant for continuously monitored quantum many-body systems, which describes physics differently from the master-equation approach, where outcomes are averaged out. In this aspect, the dynamics described by non-Hermiticity is nontrivial. One of its salient characteristics is the point-gap topology and emergence of non-Hermitian skin effect. In this talk, I will start with an overview of non-Hermitian phenomena. Then I will present our recent investigation of non-Hermitian phenomena, including non-Hermitian setup via Floquet engineering and disorder effects due to their interplay with point-gap topology.
报告人简介:
刘涛,华南理工大学物理与光电学院教授,博士生导师。2014 年博士毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学,其后分别在新加坡南洋理工大学和日本理化学研究所Franco Nori课题组从事博士后研究,2018年获日本学术振兴会外国人特别研究员(JSPS Fellowship)。研究方向为量子物质与量子光学,包括拓扑物态、非厄米物理以及多体与非平衡量子系统。已在Physical Review Letters, Nature Communications, Laser & Photonics Review, Physical Review B等期刊发表论文40余篇, 其中高被引论文2篇,谷歌引用1700余次。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目以及广东省引进创新团队项目子课题。
