报告题目: Effective Operator Bases for Standard Model and Gravity
报告摘要: Effective field theories provide systematical parametrization on new physics beyond the standard model and Einstein's gravity. It is quite challenging to write independent higher dimensional operators due to higher derivatives and repeated fields. In this talk, I present a systematical and unified construction of Lorentz, gauge, and flavor structures using Young tensor, which solves difficulties from equation of motion, integration by part and spin-statistics. Based on spacetime and internal symmetries, we explore operator bases in various effective theories and their possible ultraviolet completions.
报告人信息:于江浩,中国科学院理论物理研究所研究员、博士生导师,2012年于密歇根州立大学获博士学位,先后在得克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校和麻省大学阿姆斯特分校从事博士后研究,2017年底起先后任职理论所副研究员和研究员,获基金委优青资助。研究领域为粒子物理和粒子宇宙学,近期研究集中于Higgs质量起源和电弱相变,标准模型有效场论,重子轻子生成及低能检验,暗物质中微子宇宙学。
