报告题目: Hawking Radiation and Shear Viscosity from 

Rotating AdS Black Holes

报告摘要:

Recent progress in applications of AdS/CFT correspondence allows us to count the microstates of supersymmetric extremal AdS black holes, both from the boundary superconformal field theories and from near-horizon 2d conformal field theories. Various different approaches can lead to the same result of BPS black hole entropy. In fact, similar ideas and approaches can be applied to near-extremal rotating AdS black holes with small temperatures. This makes it possible to set up a microscopic description of Hawking radiation for near-extremal rotating AdS black holes, which generalizes the work by Callan and Maldacena for asymptotically flat black holes. Moreover, by considering a wave equation in a rotating AdS black hole background, we can compute the corresponding shear viscosity, which extends and naturally violates the (shear viscosity)-to-(entropy density) bound 1/(4 \pi) found by Kovtun, Son and Starinets. In this talk we will discuss in detail the aspects mentioned above. This talk is based on my recent papers with collaborators 2003.02770, 2005.10251, 2009.12370 and 2012.02797.

报告人简介

Dr. Jun Nian obtained his PhD at Stony Brook University, the USA. Then 2015-2017 he was the Postdoctoral Researcher, Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques,Bures-sur-Yvette, France. From 2017 to 2018 he was visiting fellowship in CERN and University of Science and Technology of China. Now he is the assistant professor in International Center for Theoretical Physics Asia Pacific, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.  He has published more than 36 papers. His research interests are AdS/CFT, black hole and Hawking Radiiation.
