报告题目:Imprints of Early Universe on Gravitational Waves from Phase Transition in QCD

报告摘要:

We study the gravitational wave spectrum from the confinement-deconfinement phase transition in QCD during the early universe expansion. We first constructed the holographic QCD models for both light quarks and heavy quarks, and calculated their free energies to obtain the phase diagrams of QCD. We then computed the gravitational wave spectrum from the phase transition in the deflagration, detonation and runaway cases for different chemical potentials and duration of the phase transition. We found that the gravitational wave spectrum from the phase transition in QCD during the early universe expansion could be observed by EPTA/IPTA and eLISA for large chemical potential and short duration of phase transitions.

报告人简历:杨毅教授,现就职于台湾交通大学电子物理系。中国科技大学本科,加拿大UBC硕士,加拿大SFU博士。曾在台湾交通大学从事博士后研究工作,以及台湾理论研究中心担任助理研究員。目前主要研究兴趣集中于全息引力与引力波。
